How you like me now? I'm gettin papers.

Not feeling well, it has been really cold lately =[

So today’s black Friday and things weren’t really that cheap. I just picked up a shirt and a mouse pad, nothing too crazy like the other black friday shoppers. From the news, i heard that there was one bestbuy worker who was killed because angry customers broke down the doors, and guess it crushed him. I mean really though, don’t bestbuy entrance have two sliding doors??! i guess they managed to break both of them down, this was at Statin Island, New York.
Other black friday news

  • Pregnant lady rushed to the hospital, due to customers trampled over/on top of her
  • Numerous seriously injured customers by being elbowed
  • Two dead gunmen inside Toys’ r us
  • Wal-mart worker killed, from the stampede customers; he was a 34 year-old male part-time temporary holiday worker

Moreover, people gots to realize that those sale items aren’t for free and are those deals really worth dying for, literally!!?!? Besides shopping, andy and i were actually at the dentist again, for three hours!?!?

Turkey dinner was goOd.

Just enjoying the day, as the sky is clearing up.

Happy Thanksgiving to allO0o.
It’s that time of the year again, thanksgiving, the day where we will stuff ourselves until we yack. LOL… just kidding, we just gain a pound or two or get hella full. The day started out with reading some international news about Mumbai, India. The news was about terrorist attack in multiple parts of India, all planned out at the same time. So there were lots of confusion, killing, and violence; mainly attacking foreigners. Scary right?! News also indicated that there may be another planned terrorist attack on public transportation, during the holidays, so we should all be fully alert.

Aside from daily news, lets talk about today. We just came back from breakfast, our neighborhood shanghai restaurant. The food was good, even though their stuff gots lots of oil and spiciness. As for later today, my uncle called and said that we’re invited to their turkey dinner. Come to realization, this is actually the first thanksgiving celebration without mom and grandma. However, to make it all up, this year will be the first time to have turkey dinner with my baby cousins.

Had Vietnamese with dad…We ate out because he said i couldn’t cook

! ! ! Update ! ! !

Mom called and said they just arrived in New York(12:30pm)

….coldest winter ever….

…miss mom already…

Working hard, researching what to make for dinner…..
Just got back from the san francisco airport. I didn’t know the domestic terminals were so crappy and the international terminals were that much more pretty. Anyways, it was a nice feel to walk around the aitport, since i haven’t taken an airplane for more than 5 years. So i guess it’s farewell to my mom, grandma, and aunts for two weeks. A picture of last home cooked meal, before the trip.

! ! ! BREAKING NEWS ! ! !
Not really breaking news but still important. The problem is that my mom will be going to New York tomorrow, so we won’t be having any homemade food for two weeks. So whoever is following this blog, mine me tag along for thanksgiving!?!? Help a brother out…know what i’m saying?!!?
I’ll bring the cake???

Today was quite relaxing but still remains another cold day. Went with my mom and aunts to yum-cha and then shopped a little. After that, we chilled at my cousin’s house, which pretty much covered the whole day. Anyways, it was quite odd spending a whole day at sunset district, mainly because of the foggy and gloomy weather. When driving home, the fog begins to clear, as we’re moving towards millbre. Anyways, it’s nice to live somewhere without random weathers, like san francisco.

Just came back from the san bruno buffet. Before that, tony and i went biking and then jogged afterwords. We did this “new route” today because tony wants to “train” for a triathlon and ironman. From today’s training, it does not seem that we’re up to par for a full length triathlon yet, probably couple more months will do. After that, we went shopping at tanforan and got myself something something for the winter time.
Currently watching an old tvb series, La Femme Desperado. It is quite a good show, the story line talks about how this younger guy is dating an older women…(sounds familiar)…and they go through series of challenges to make it work. Anyways, i think the story line is pretty good and sometimes ordinary people do think “age” can be a problem in a relationship.

Came home quite late yesterday, about 2:30am. Last night, i went to san francisco international car show. Afterwords, went to this Portuguese restaurant at polk street and then to the movies. We went to watch Twilight at century 20, the movie was good and i recommend watching it. Anyways i took a bunch of pictures at the car show.

Today was a pretty nice day, sunny weather but still cold. Anyhow, went to daly city plaza, got some dim sum and groceries. Afterwords, we went to my grandma’s house and check our baby cerise’. She’s so tiny, like a little puppy. So i took some pictures throughout the day, now examine =]

Got teeth cleaned

While doing my daily net surfing, i find this clip quite hilarious…..especially after watching the “Katt William’s Pimpin Pimpin” stand comedy movie. It is just so funny because this clip pretty much sum’s up President Bush’s presidency, for the last 8 years. A line i thought was awesome from Katt William, “How he managed to get a job and fuck up evarraayythang…; the gas, water, air…and evaarrrythang”.

Just came back from a late night dinner/snack with my friend david, we went to 100% healthy at millbre. The food wasn’t the best and the price was kind of expensive, so i won’t recommend people eating real food there. Anyways, we just chilled for a bit there, looked over some economic practice exams and talked about some recent news about our economy. Yes, the economy is an interesting topic but the technical and calculative parts is a pain. Anyhow, chilling at a late night caffe can be pretty relaxing, with a cold drink of course.

Nothing too exciting today, just chilled with my moma the whole day. We had some breakfast at starbucks and just walked around millbre; places include mervyens, safeway, walgreens, and more. After that, we just went home and watched a whole day of tvb. So today was pretty relaxing, besides the gloomy weather. So not much picture today, but i found something i liked on the net. It’s a picture of +50 years of Nissan Skyline GTR

11-19-08 "Some relief"

Just watching some tvb, kicking back and relax

Finally, end of my nerve racking international relation midterm and economic presentation. It’s more of a relieve now, since my thanksgiving break begins now to december 1st. But during this time period, i will need to do my 10 page term paper, which again for my stupid class international relation. I swear i hate IR classes, so damn much reading and humanitarian terms, along with other types of neo-terms. Anyways, beside working on that paper, i will also have to do some studying and other homework, doesn’t seem like a break right??!!? But anyways, i will seriously try to relax during this thanksgiving break because i’ve been working hard and studying my ass off for the last two weeks. It was just horrible. Anyhow, other plans for this break will probably be just chilling with friends and watch some tvb series, just kick back and relax a few days. Oh yeah, didn’t update yesterday because of the reasons stated above.

Oh yeah, my friend called me yesterday night and we talked about a trip to Vegas. I guess i’m going to vegas with serveral of my friends for a 4 day trip. I believe the days are going to be from the 26-29 of december. Hopefully this vacation could get me off about school and etc. Here’s a picture below which pictures how my two weeks were, literally, papers everywhere(15 articles)

Just surfing the net in the library right now. I came across this headline, on new york time, and what it said was that MTV’s TRL live will no longer be aired. This “news” was quite interesting to me because i remember i used to watch this show in middle school and high school. Now seeing the show end is like a bitter sweet moment, even though i haven’t watched it since i attended college. Anyways, i guess there’s no more mtv live…i wonder what will happen to the music videos..??

Nothing too exciting today. Went to moonstar buffet for lunch and the new bestbuy afterward, located near Tanforan. That bestbuy is kind of small, but i guess it’s better to have one near my house than to drive down to the bestbuy at colma. Anyhow, today was pretty relaxing and i’ve been watching the new tvb series, called “When Easterly Showers Fall On The Sunny West”. The show is alright but not best. Aside from chilling with the tv, i’ve been pretty much studying and reading long articles about south+southeast asia, for a midterm this coming wensday. I don’t know why, but i’m just going to not try as hard anymore, for the rest of the semester, mainly because i realized that trying too hard just stresses me out. But that also does not mean that i’m not going to not do my work, it just means that i’ll just need to manage things better but also have the time to relax. So if it’ll take me an extra semster to graduate than so be it.

Pictures from dinner

Funny clip

Pretty tired right now, just came back from a bicycle ride with tony. The ride was ok but then the hills got me pretty worn out. Also i think from the last time’s fall, i’ve been left somewhat scar and no longer have the guts to go super fast. Anyhow, it was great getting back on a bike and feeling the instant soreness, as a result of it. As for the rest of the day, there will be a family dinner thing going on at my grandma’s house and the welcoming of the new baby cousin into the house. So i guess there will be some photo snapping action later =] On the topic of photos, i found two really cool ones for Nissan month.

11-14-08 "Good friday ??"

Stumble upon this shocking clip, it just shows you why some people think black people are crazy and dangerous. I’m not being racist or anything, but for real though…sometimes they gots to take a chill pill, choking the sh*t out of a challenged kid isn’t going to miraculously cure their problems.
Today was such a good weather,so i just couldn’t pass up this lovely day without running. The route which i ran was not my typical route, instead i ran the san bruno and the milbre hills. The approximate distance was 5 miles and it took me longer than usual, about 1 hour. The run was quite exhausting, mainly because i haven’t ran for about a month and the heat. Anyways, today’s session was pretty nice, it just got me off not thinking about school, felt something like another way of meditation. Moreover, meditation is the key to success??? Oh yeah, found something interesting that matt matt might want to look into.

Just came back from the dentist and the comments were the usual, “Wear the position, ok?”. Anyways, rolling around Chinatown brings back a lot of bitter sweet memories, it seems like i miss driving my mom to and back from work. I guess Chinatown is certainly a special place in my life time and a place where i call home. Anyhow, Chinatown was really hot today. Oh yeah, ate lunch at moonstar today and it was goOd. Too bad my cousin matt, the terminator, weren’t there to enjoy the food festival, along with my buddy ol pal paypay.
Not much happening today but to do my homework and preparing for Wednesday’s exam. Also i found this interesting invention, for those who have an itouch/iphone, which is a modern style phone stand.
